So, as a family we finally got back to the 'van for 5 days.
Journey down did not look good. On the 12th we ended up passing through 2 heavy snow flurries on the M25 and some stop start traffic.
But when we got to Cornwall the weather just turned a switch. Bright blue skies with a couple of clouds. Was a little chilly in the shade or when the sun popped behind a cloud but bearable.

'Van was in good shape. Odd dead bug but that was about it. Do need to sort out some smart heating though as it would be useful to be able to warm it up for our arrival especially when we travel through the night to get there.
Site pool was open and heated, even though there was an argument brewing as head office were saying it was closed due to government restrictions which there weren't any at the time. Eldest, 4, was in the pool within seconds and having a great time. It has felt like forever since she has been in a pool.
Took the new puppy to the beach for the first time. First thing he tried to do was eat the sand. Love a puppy. Then had a wail of a time running around on the beach and through rock pools etc. He wasn't too sure of the sea though

Weather was just fantastic and more than we could of hopped for. A little cold at night but nothing we couldn't handle.

Was great to go into town and get a pasty, do a bit of shopping and just have a mooch about. There is a bouncy castle park on the way into Newquay that my daughter spent 2 hours at just jumping around like a loon. Great fun
Our next trip is on the first may bank holiday. So less than 2 weeks away. The eldest can't wait. Not sure that I can either. Really didn't want to come back.
