Best 4g at Haven Perran Sands
    « on: February 08, 2022, 10:30:05 am »
I'm looking to install a 4g router in my static at Perran Sands and wonder if anyone on here already has done so and can advise the best coverage/provider? Long shot I know but worth a try. I know Sky is a reasonable signal, Vodaphone less so.

So I'm not far from you in Newquay. We are on 3. They had the best unlimited data contract. That way we know we get a bill with no hidden surprises.

We have found the coverage good, and the download speeds good enough for what we need and we do a lot of streaming and downloading.

One thing to note, a lot of carriers don't actually own the network, they just rent bandwidth of of someone else. 3 own their 3G/4G network. Someone like Sky will be something like 02 rebranded.

Tis true! We love Holywell and have had many happy holidays there, but Perranporth has more to offer. Feel very lucky our static became available when it did.😁
