Hi hope you can help. We are at the early stages of picking a single lodge. We have decided on a park. After reading some reviews on lodge manufacturers, some manufacturers sound horrendous.
Can anyone advise who has good after sales service and good build quality. We have a budget of around 100k.

So when we bought ours, all the after sale service was handled by the site. On our site that was great to start with but then they replaced the Owners Liaison and it all went down hill from there.

Is the park you are looking at a big name, Haven/Park Dean etc, or a smaller more independent one?

We have a Willerby, build quality is good and the things that have failed are more the hardware. So far the fridge-freezer, tap, extractor fan but nothing I would say is to do with build quality. Just cheap hardware which is pretty much going to be the same for anything no matter how much you pay.

Thanks for your reply. The site I would say is small compared to the bigger companies.
Today we are viewing a nearly new willerby Sheraton. We also liked the look of a new Abi Ambleside. I’ve been advised pemberton are a better make but haven’t viewed one as yet.

We have a (residential park home) made by the Prestige/Homeseeker group - they also make leisure lodges, which I believe are all to residential spec.
I can vouch for the fact that both the build quality and the after sales is very good. They're nice helpful people to talk too, as well.
They work under the Platinum Seal warranty, which is valid for any park (unlike the Gold Shield warranty, which is only for registered parks).

Hi Stupot, we spent a long time looking at various makes and styles. We eventually settled on a Pemberton; partly because the layout was suitable for us, but also we found the build quality to be a bit better than many we had looked at.  I cannot give much information about after-sales service because there was nothing which needed fixing or adjusting.

Thank you. One of the models we’re looking at is the pemberton Langton.
