Hello Wendy and welcome to the forum.

    That's great news.
Just make sure you read all the useful  information on here regarding buying etc and if you need any help i am sure someone on here can assist you.

I retired just before Christmas and was hoping to spend at lot of time at our static. Then Covid hit  ???
Only spent 3 days there before lockdown.

So now looking forward to 4th July and making up for lost time  ;D

It is a great lifestyle and you will not regret it.

    Ian

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome. That is so great to hear. I do find that work gets in the way of me spending more time at the caravan.

Have you found a 'van and site that you like?

Welcome to a great forum Wendy do plenty of research into what you want and need in a caravan as it’s so easy to make a costly mistake.
I know someone who bought their first caravan last year with no research done, and they bought it because it had 2 toilets fitted. I asked them if it had central heating and they said they didn’t know anyway it hadn’t and in the autumn months they had loads of condensation with using the gas fire and they couldn’t keep warm at all.
They came very close to giving the van up and losing a lot of money, I suggested getting in touch with their site manager and askImg about having gas central heating installed and that is what they have had done and now they’re quite happy.

    John.
