    Black Horse
    « on: May 14, 2020, 09:42:48 am »
Hi All i've just been told by someone that uses Black Horse for their finance that they have been given a 3 month Holiday Payment break   :)

    Thank you Black Horse

It's not nice when something like this Covid uproots your plans but at least some finance companies are seeing how serious this is, If you use Black Horst, Go to your online Member account and chick the payment holiday, Its saved this lady £1200 as she's now claiming UC whilst being laid off from her job.

Black Horse do not let you off this, What they will do is add the 3 months to the end of the term, so you'll pay it back eventually just not yet  :)

I feel really sorry for people who are in this predicament through no fault of their own some who also need to rent their vans out as holiday let’s to help to pay for them.
I’m lucky retired and recently sold our 2 year old Motorhome which paid for our caravan outright and put a fair bit of cash back in our savings.

    John.

I agree with your sentiments.  It must be difficult for those depending on lettings to pay some of the costs of the caravan.
Like you, we recently bought ours and are on an "owners only" site, with no subletting allowed.
Hopefully, we will get access to our vans soon and start to enjoy caravan life.

Just like all on this thread, we were very lucky and bought our static outright after cashing in on an investment.

We can cover the ground rent but was hoping that the rent would take that burden off of us. We only purchased November last year so we are just more gutted that we can't use it with all the lovely weather that we are having.

I think there may be a few good statics on the market by the end of the season with investors wanting to cut their loses. I have met a couple of people on our site who own more than one static or own one simply for rental possibilities. They will have some tough decisions to think as I'm not sure this will be over any time soon
