Quite simple. You can hit the quote button, top right of a post you are looking at. You'll then get the reply box with the message quoted in between

All you need to know start with [ quote ] before your text and end with [ / quote ] after the text. (you need to remove the spaces. I had to put them in otherwise you wouldn't see them)

Hope that helps.

Ok thank you. Well here goes.  ;D It works  ;D

Well. Just had an email from my Park.

Looks like lots of restrictions. Which is understandable. No swimming pool yet but once they get go ahead it has to be booked for a 45 minute session with only 10 people at a time. No toilet or shower facilities will be open and no sun bathing.
No friends to visit. Only close family and no gatherings.
Children have to be supervised by their parents at all times and we are advised to use hand sanitiser everywhere.

Can also arrive early on the 4th. Which is great as some Parks are stipulating 9 or 10am opening.

Getting excited now  ;D

That is great news.

I'm counting the sleeps. 5!

Our site has a 12 p.m. opening time on the 4th and if we get out on time at 8 a.m. (easier said than done with wife, 3y/o and mum all having to get in the car) we'll get there for about 1.30ish

So excited. Already cooked and frozen the meals for the week.

Bet everyone is on the edge of their seats.

Yes i can imagine with a 3 year old. But i'm sure everything will go ok.

Well you are very organised with the frozen food. Was going food shopping on Friday.

But not sure how much chilled and frozen stuff i can get in the cooler box.  Might have to go to the local Morrisons once we arrive.

If we get to the site by 7am. Unload then get to the supermarket by 8am. Hopefully it won't be too busy at that time.

Can you not get a store delivery to your site ?? That way you can order chilled and frozen with no probs ??

It's more my mother I worried about, lol  :P

The key is to cook it and then bag it in zip seal bags and then freeze it flat. The it really doesn't take up much room. When you buy stuff it's mostly the packaging that takes up all the room. This way get's around that.

We want to enjoy our holiday as much as possible so try to avoid the chore of cooking. This way, re-heat with rice or pasta and job done. Even the rice goes in the microwave.

So as it happens we are back down for our 2 week break at the end of July start of August. We don't want to have to cart down 2 weeks worth of food so we are planning on doing just that. Only issue is getting a slot at the moment. Can't get one here for love nor money unless you are really lucky. Will do some investigating when we are down there next week.

I am not sure the site allows deliveries i will have to ask.  Good idea though. Depending if we can get a delivery slot.

I’ve been in touch with our site today and as things are they will open on the 13th July if things don’t deteriorate, as there is a major outbreak of CV on Anglesey which is only40 miles away from our site.
So glass half full we’ll be going to our van on the 13th.

    John.

Gerry thank you.  My site says they can accept grocery deliveries.

The only problem is the next available delivery slot is 17th July  ;D So looks like a trip to the local supermarket.

Hi Ian, have you tried Icelend for delivery slots?  In our area, we can get slots at any time the next day, or the following day.  They only book up to 2 days in advance.
Anyway, good luck with your trip.

No i must admit i didn't. Only tried the main supermarkets.

I have managed to book a click and collect though from 8am on the 4th  from the local  Morrisons.  :)

Perhaps next time we will use Iceland as we will be onsite for a while.

Thank you for the information and good luck with your trip too.
