Solid fuel stove in Atlas Dakota

Hi, sorry if similar questions have been posted, I couldn't find any. We're doing  a self build and will be living in our 1999 32*12 Atlas Dakota with our 2 kids in the west of scotland for a few years. We want to install a solid fuel stove for heat and cooking. Due to the current energy crisis, and after paying £££ for electricity to the site we can't get an electric supplier at present - however even when we can I wouldn't want to rely on electricity for heating anyway. The Dakota, lovely as she is, is ex holiday park because her gas boiler is defunct so we don't have that option either

Anyway, so I thought we could take out the gas fire/chimney breast and put in a stove, I had a look at solid fuel stoves that I could cook on. There are some cute glamping stoves but I'm not sure they would give enough heat or give enough space to cook for us all . e.g. the eco adventurer 5 is 4.5kwh and the hot plate looks to be about 30*25cm. So then I found a stove that I really liked but its cast iron stove and its 170kg. Its 8kwh and has a hot plate I could make a big pot of soup and scones on! And I could reuse the stove for the house when we get that far.

So here comes my question... what kind of weight can the caravan cope with? I obviously don't want to take any risks but am i being overcautious thinking that's too heavy? Any tips welcome on heating, kwh, weight, size etc.

You will not only have to consider the weight of the stove, but also the weight of the additions to make the surrounding areas fireproof. It cannot go on a wooden floor, or back on to wood struts in the walls, so you will have a heavy hearth to think about as well, plus fireproof surround..
The combined weight will be a "spot-load" which will almost certainly need some (maybe a lot) extra support jacks placed underneath to help stop any distortion.
I have attached some links (some a bit old now) of the things that you need to consider. You will see that it is possible, but needs to be done properly. Not sure what the legislation about solid-fuel/wood-burners are in Scotland, but for the safety of you and your family, get a professional  installer to make sure it is safe. Wood can cause carbon-monoxide poising just as fast as gas.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I think we'll need to go for one of the lighter stoves. We also spoke to the stovefitterswarehouse who have helped with figuring out what we need once we decide on a stove as we were worried about the stove supporting the chimney.
