Spain open for British owners of 2nd homes from tomorrow
    « on: June 20, 2020, 09:56:14 pm »
Unbelievable - the UK Government have agreed that British people who own second homes in Spain can go to stay in them from tomorrow.  Why not the same rules for those of us with 2nd homes (Static caravans) in the UK?

    It's ridiculous.

So they can go to an airport with many  other  people.  Fly  on an aircraft with  little  social distancing.

It's just madness and we still have to wait  with no definate date.  Just a provisional one.

No news to say that we can definitely go in early July!!!!

Hopefully This week we'll be told officially by the Government when we can go to our Vans, I think the dates that are out there -4th July etc are just provisional, but with the government relaxing the 2 m rule and the Virus dying down to a small percentage then hopefully that date will become live and we''l be able to go, Saw this is a paper this morning...

The UK holiday season will start within a fortnight when the Prime Minister gives the green light to hotels and vacation parks to reopen (Brighton beach, left, pictured yesterday). Mr Johnson is expected to announce the move as part of a package of measures to restart an economy devastated by Covid-19, including the long-anticipated cut in distancing guidance from two metres. Instead, the government will adopt a 'one-metre-plus' rule to allow hard-hit sectors such as pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops to pull in more punters

So hopefully we may be surprised when Boris speaks tonight from No.10
