    Thank you for the welcome.

I have just bought a 2013 willerby sunset, 2 bed.
Main issue that bothers me is that the main bedroom is really cold - not draughty, but when you walk in the bedroom it's like walking in a fridge 🥶 The other rooms aren't as cold as this room? Maybe because it's at the rear? I have been looking at insulation methods such as under the van or under the carpet.

I also thought how some caravans have furniture either side of the bed which (I guess) would also add some insulation to that rear back wall. 🤷‍♀️

Hello Dolly , is there any central heating in the van ? Ours is always colder in the bedroom because like you say it’s at the rear and the front gets all the sun , the sun doesn’t really get through our bedroom window. You could try an oiled filled radiator and put it on a timer for when you want to use the bedroom.  Most caravans unless central heated , double glazed will be cold this time of year.

    Nice.

Can I ask what the wooden bar is above the bed? Is it a shelf or a night light?

As for heating, if not central heated, oil filled rad and lots of soft furnishings. The soft furnishings will help with CH 'vans as well.

Welcome Dolly from myself as well.
As to your cold bedroom at the back of the ‘van, you’ve realised the issue. If the room is the full width of the ‘van you have 3 external walls and the floor and room all helping that room react to outside temps.
Your suggested solutions would improve things in relation to one of the five external surfaces(floor) but the others will still be the same.
Have you tried rugs, or carpet runners as a temporary help for the floor before you spend larger amounts on additional insulation be it underfloor, or above floor (better carpeting &underlay). All of which would improve the situation a bit but it will still be a colder room than the rest.
We have an oil filled rad as an extra heat source for when needed if the CH is off etc. but also have electric blankets available.
