It depends on the issue, usually the problem with site wifi is broadband width i.e. the more people using  it and taking a share the smaller your share is (the slower your speed ) and no kit will overcome this.
The solution is usually to go the route of providing your own wifi network.

I’m with Dave , I wouldn’t even be able to get a booster to work with site WiFi because of the way I have to log in.
Problem is also that your in a metal tin .
I got my own 4g router , SIM card and external aerial , a lot costlier than site WiFi but at least it’s useable.

Signal at our site is poor as well hence the outdoor aerial  , check here to see which providers can give you the best signal.  https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/mobile-coverage

Diesel dog, do you get any mobile phone signal at all whilst stood outside your ‘van, from any provider at all? If you do then you will have something you can use.

Sorry I'm late to this. I was actually at my van last week  8)

I have just installed a router and aerial to run off a sim card. The set up was pretty easy but my download speeds on 4G are still only at 10 Mb.

I am going to have a play around with the connections. I don't want to throw too much money at it as 5G is here and when I tested that on my phone outside the van I was getting 260 Mb download which is better than I get at home sometimes.

We have no site wifi and the TV reception is shocking so we have gone down this route of streaming everything. What I have is enough for 1 or 2 devices but I could really do with a bit of a higher download speed. If the connections all seem fine I may change my outdoor mast but that's about it till the 5G equipment comes down in price.

Did you get your aerial up as high as possible ? Do you try in aerial in different place round the van . I put the routers aerials on it , plugged it into an extension lead and walk around the van with it up in the air to find position for the strongest signal. Also check which providers have the best signal in your area

Yeah I got it up on to the top of the TV mast as high as it can go. I'm pretty sure it's just a connection somewhere. Even if not, 10mb is enough for streaming etc. We tend not to have any data intensive stuff down there unless I decide to work there. Then, push comes to shove, I'll be able to hotspot and leave my phone outside.

As part of the deal with 3 for unlimited data I will get a new connection device. Has not external aerial facility but I can then move around outside and see if that makes a difference.
