I hope nobody on here was affected too badly by the recent storm.  I feel very sorry for those thousands who have been without power and running water for 6 days.  I was also shocked to see pictures of the devastation to static caravans at the Crimdon Dene park, where some caravans were ripped apart, some overturned and some had their decking torn away.  I hope the insurance companies are on the ball to get things fixed.

It's terrible isn't it. I was actually in our 'van when it hit but was down in Cornwall. Wind and rain was pretty heavy but nothing like up in Scotland. Still can't believe there are people up there without power. For some the aim is to get it back up and running again by Christmas. Poor sods.

Let's hope the insurance companies don't try and find some minor loophole on this one.
