Scammers are trying to trick pizza lovers with their latest fake offer of 'free' Domino's Pizza.
Essex Trading Standards have warned residents of the scam which is reportedly going around Essex, and the UK, offering two large pizzas for free.
It has been shared around via Facebook, WhatsApp and text message, trying to dupe unknowing fans of the popular pizza company.
The Essex Trading Standards (EST) company have warned customers to beware of the fake promotion, which then asks for personal details.
A screenshot of the scam shows simply a picture of Domino's Pizza boxes with the message: "Domino's is Supporting the Nation by giving 2 Large Pizza for FREE per family."
On their Facebook, the ETS said: "Beware of the ‘free Domino’s Pizza’ promotion being shared via Facebook, WhatsApp and as a text message.
"IT IS A SCAM! It claims Domino's is giving away two free large pizzas per family to everyone this week to support the nation during Corona Pandemic. When you click the link in the message it takes you to a fake website that asks for personal details."
