    Oh well it looks like we might be coming out of the lock down soon with the Governments message now changing from Stay at Home to Stay Alert  :)

    Lets home Parks start to open up to owners shortly so we can visit our Static's and lodges.

    With Less people becoming infected now i think the last few weeks has seen for sure a decline in people actually getting the infection but what do you think ??

    Hi Gerry

    I would like to hope that caravan parks will be able to open soon for owners only.  The PM did say you could use your car to drive to beauty spots as long as you maintain social distancing, I would love it of he did, just so that I could have a change of scenery. Having said that, I am a "shielder"  so I reckon I'm grounded for a bit longer yet. I could shield very well at the caravan though  :)
    I'm hoping we get a few more details when he addresses Parliament later today

    Well we were hoping of hitting the site this weekend.

    I can't see that happening now. We are still waiting for an email from Park Dean to confirm things. Suppose they need today to write it up.

    It's a shame as we were then planning to have a full week down there over the half term.

    I'll wait with baited breath but I could really do with a change of scenery. With working from home and my only visits out are to the supermarket and to drop bits off to my mum, I'm getting a little be claustrophobic.

    Absolutely

    They said we couldn't go to ours (Park Holidays) as it would overwhelm the Local NHS  if we became ill,  Well now since hospital admissions are down, and the R value is less than 1, i can't see any reasons for owners not to visit and practice social distancing at the same time.

    Completely agree with that, but...

    I went for a run at my rugby club on the weekend for my one hour of exercise a day (more like for 7 weeks  :-[ ) and there were several lads out playing football on our fields, then as I left about 10-14 teenagers turned up to hang out under a gazebo we have put up.

    Then to round it off, when driving back home (this was on Friday, VE day) there were plenty of parties happening on peoples' front lawns. Great idea and great sentiment but they'd all had a few bevvies and social distancing went out the window. Everyone was chatting and laughing in each others' gardens, no distancing at all.  >:(

    These are intelligent people and it's actions like this that will mean nothing re-opens as a small minority of the general populous can't be trusted. Such a shame that they may ruin it for the rest of us

    This made me laugh

    So tourist will be coming for a 2 week holiday to the UK and spend it in Quarantine ??

    My wife owns a nursery. She has been open for the entirety of this for key workers. She's only had a handful of kids in a day. Nice and easy for her. Does mean she had to furlough a load of staff though.

    As for holidays, well that's obviously not going to work, haha!  :)

    I think I read somewhere that the French would be exempt. How will that even work. All sounds very confusing to me  :-\
